Our company’s concern for Health and Safety comes before any other management responsibilities and business objectives.

GMG’s award-winning Health and Safety record is demonstrated by our RoSPA President’s Award and our 15 consecutive RoSPA Gold Medal awards, NFRC Safety In Roofing Gold Excellence, and recent RoSPA President’s award win.

We are committed to integrating Health and Safety considerations into our business decisions to help ensure the safety of our workforce, our contractors and the public.

GMG is committed to the continued development of our employees to ensure they remain fully aware and competent in their Health and Safety responsibilities as shown by our OHSAS 18001, RoSPA, CHAS, UKAS and SMAS certifications and accreditations.

Independent safety consultants carry out rigorous audits and ensure that all safety documentation and procedures are adhered to and complied with.

Internal training programmes ensure every part of the GMG workforce is aware of the latest regulations and safe working practices while, in January 2022, we appointed our first fully trained Mental Health First Aiders to further support our team’s wellbeing.
